Did the Duchess of Cambridge reveal she is expecting a baby girl?

Will the world be graced with a little princess in July? If the Duchess of Cambridge’s potential slip is anything, she may have revealed that she and husband Prince William are expecting a baby girl this summer.

E! News reports that Duchess nearly revealed the gender of her unborn child while visiting a seaport in Grimsby.

The Duchess was gifted an adorable teddy bear by an awaiting bystander. The pregnant royal accepted the gift and said, “Thank you, I’ll take that for my d…" then she stopped herself before going on, Telegraph reveals.

One person in the crowd asked the Duchess if she was about to say she would give the bear to her “daughter” she replied, “We’re not telling.” The bystander notes that the Duchess and Prince do know what the gender of their child is.

Telegraph notes that it is standard for a royal to not reveal what the unborn child is.

The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to give birth in July.
