Is Fergie leaving the Black Eyed Peas? Not so fast, Will.i.am tweets

After several reports claiming Fergie is leaving her duties as Black Eyed Peas front-woman, fellow bandmate Will.i.am took to Twitter to set the record straight.

Will.i.am tweeted, "The rumors on @fergie being replaced are so false @PerezHilton & @TMZNEWSS_ is the furthest from the truth #BEP4ever #fergieROCKS...#family.”

The tweet denounces any stories that Fergie is leaving the group, including Perez Hilton’s “exclusive report” that the band was secretly auditioning female leads to replace Fergie while she took a couple of years off to focus on motherhood and a solo album.

Fergie is currently expecting her first child with husband Josh Duhamel. Fergie told Good Morning America ,"I have no idea what I'm doing! I'm just going to play it by ear and see how things go, and let the natural instincts kick in,”E! News reported.

She also told GMA, “I'm feeling great, I had a little bit [of morning sickness] in the beginning, but very little.”
