While this year’s Tribeca Film Festival will kick off with an indie rock documentary, it will still be a star-studded festival, with several new films from A-listers having their world premieres at the New York festival.

The festival’s Spotlight Section will feature 23 world premieres and 33 films in total.

Scott Coffey’s Adult World features Emma Roberts as an aspiring poet who seeks a mentor in reclusive writer John Cusack. Almost Christmas stars Paul Rudd and Paul Giamatti in a buddy comedy, while Dennis Quaid and Zac Efron star in Ramin Bahrani’s At Any Price.

Julianne Moore is featured in The English Teacher, from Weeds director Craig Zisk. Melissa Leo stars in Enid Zentelis’ Bottled Up.

Kat Coiro’s A Case Of You stars Sam Rockwell, Evan Rachel Wood, Justin Long, Vince Vaughn and Peter Dinklage. Rockwell also stars in A Single Shot and the comedy Trust Me with Clark Gregg.

The Los Angeles Times notes that several documentary premieres were also announced, including Marina Zenovich’s Richard Pryor: Omit the Logic. Gore Vidal: The United States of Amnesia by Nicholas Wrathall and Whoopi Goldberg’s documentary on comedy pioneer Moms Mabley will also premiere.

The Tribeca Film Festival starts on April 17 and you can check out the full list of films at TribecaFilm.com. The festival will start with the documentary Mistaken Strangers.
