Speaking out for the first time, Iron Man actress Gwyneth Paltrow, revealed that she suffered a miscarriage that almost took her life.

Fox News reported that the 40-year-old mother of two opened up about a particularly painful time in her life when she had a miscarriage with her third child.
“I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, ‘Are we good here or should we go back and try again?’”
Although the Emma star almost died, Paltrow admits that she is still considering giving a sibling to daughter Apple, 8, and son Moses, 6.
“My children ask me to have a baby all the time,” she said. “And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I’m thinking about it.”
In an interview with The Daily Mail, Paltrow confessed that the baby fever surrounding Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy, caused some “broody” feelings (the “Single Ladies” singer also suffered a miscarriage before the birth of her daughter in January of last year).
Paltrow also praised her husband, Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin’s dedication to being a good father.
“[Chris] is so good to the children and to know that you had kids with such a good man is a real weight off you. We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and lean on each other for support.”
Whether the actress has another child or not, Paltrow feels confident that she and Martin will be able to handle whatever the future holds.
"Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father," she says.
