Alexandra Daddario turns 27 today!
Alexandra Anna Daddario was born and raised in New York in a family of lawyers with Italian and Czechoslovakian descent.
Daddario wanted to be an actress at a younger age, but she only debuted her television role at the age of 16 as Laurie Lewis in All My Children.
She then landed more roles in TV shows and movies. Her film/TV series credits include Law and Order, The Squid and the Whale, Pitch, The Hottest State, The Sopranos, The Babysitters and The Attic.
All of these roles booked Daddario a groundbreaking role that popularized her internationally, the role of Annabeth Chase of Athena descent in an adaptation of Rick Riordan's best-selling teen novel Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
After her performance in the movie, she got more leading roles in movies and TV shows, such as Texas Chainsaw 3D, Hall Pass, recurring roles in White Collar, and Parenthood.
The American actress has been booked to play Annabeth Chase in the next Percy Jackson movie, Percy Jackson: Sea Monsters.
At the end of last year, she appeared in the Las Vegas-based indie rock band Imagine Dragon's video clip for its single, entitled "Radioactive."
