Hayley Williams ‘felt crazy’ following Paramore’s falling out

By April Chieffo,

Paramore frontwoman, Hayley Williams, covers the April issue of Nylon Magazine.

Although she and Paramore members Taylor York and Jeremy Davis have gotten past the troubles they faced within the band with two former members in 2010, Williams opened up in the magazine about just how crazy she felt during that time.

"It went from being like, 'Hey, we don't want to be in the band anymore' to this really hairy online situation, where I was like, 'How did this happen? Why is this happening?'” she said about when Zac and Josh Farro decided to quit the band.

Following the split, Josh decided to take to the internet and air the band’s dirty laundry, as well as make serious allegations.

“I know I'm a smiley person, but when I get hurt or when I get upset, I can definitely turn crazy,” she continued. “And I felt crazy for a while, like, 'When is this going to go away?' But it did, finally, and I'm more thankful for the good that's come out of it than I am upset about the bad that went down."

According to Rolling Stone, Paramore’s new self-titled album will be released early next month on April 9. They’ve already released two singles, “Now,” and “Still into You,” which are very different from each other. Williams said in Nylon that going into the recording studio again, she and her bandmates didn’t want to dwell on the past, so they didn't.

"Writing the new record, we didn't want to go backward. We wanted to move forward, so we made a conscious effort to do it. It felt like we were kids starting a band for the first time."
