HBO announces April airing of new Louis C.K. stand up special

HBO will air the comedy special on April 13

HBO announced in a press release Thursday that stand up comedian and TV writer Louis C.K. will have a new comedy special air on April 13 at 10pm on the premium network.

The stand up comic and Emmy award-winning writer for his work in late night talk shows will star in his fourth stand up show for HBO. This is his first time on the network since 2007. According to Deadline, CK’s material will touch upon divorce, murder and the food chain, among other things.

The new HBO feature is called Oh My God and according to TV.com, the show was taped recently in Phoenix.

C.K. addressed to fans on his website that he finished off his U.S. tour with the HBO filming in Phoenix by holding four shows in two nights on February 15 and 16.

He plans to do a stand up tour of Europe in the Spring to promote overseas airings of his FX comedy show, Louie.
