Seattle Grace Hospital is about to welcome another pretty-faced doctor. It has just been revealed that actress Hilarie Burton will have a recurring guest spot on the medical drama Grey's Anatomy.
According to E! Online, the White Collar star will play a hospital craniofacial specialist who comes to the hospital to work on a specific case.
Burton, 30, is most known for her role as Peyton Sawyer on One Tree Hill which also starred Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush. Before her breakout in the series, she hosted MTV's video countdown show TRL.
The Hollywood Reporter states that Burton's first episode will be the 22nd episode of this season, and is set to premiere sometime in May.
Besides roles on White Collar and now Grey's, Burton has reportedly signed on for the pilot of Fox's The List.
Burton is currently dating fellow actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who appeared on Grey's Anatomy from 2006-2009. US Weekly shares that the couple, who prefer to keep their personal lives private, welcomed son Gus in March of 2010.
