Rainbow, born March 5 is Madison, and her boyfriend, Pasquale Rotella’s first child. As the 33-year-old told In Touch, she’s enjoying every minute of first-time motherhood.
Describing the birth experience as “fun” and “easy,” since she had an epidural, she says motherhood is just as much fun. “Just holding her is so much fun,” she said.
Still, she does have those not-so-fun moments.
“Like all babies, she has her moments," she added. "But I’m so in awe of her that I even think her screams are cute!”
Rainbow, no doubt, is a unique name. When the former Girls Next Door star welcomed her daughter, she explained why she chose such a colorful name.
“I have always loved the name Rainbow,” she wrote on her Celebuzz blog. “There was a girl in my school a few years younger than me named Rainbow and I was so envious of her name because it was so pretty and unusual. She was a perfectly normal, well-adjusted, sporty girl, by the way, so I’m not worried about my daughter being “traumatized” by having an unusual name…. I want my daughter to be proud of who she is and learn to speak up and stand up for herself at a young age. I spent most of my life being a people-pleaser who worried about what other people thought or thought was cool and I don’t want that for her.”
During her interview with In Touch, she had a message for those who criticize her daughter’s name: “Bring it on!”
While Holly is enjoying her time spent with Rainbow, she’s already making plans to have more kids in the future.
“We want Rainbow to have lots of brothers and sisters,” she said. “I’d love to have six!”
