Houston report on hail gives Internet ‘Kabooyow Lady’ (Video)

Local news is the gift that just keeps giving for the Internet. There was Sweet Brown, Andre Dodson and Kai the Hatchet-wielding Hitchhiker. Now, we have the “Kabooyow Lady” thanks to a local Houston report on a hail storm.

According to The Huffington Post, there was a surprisingly strong hail storm that battered homes in Brookshire, Texas, west of Houston. KPRC Local 2 News gathered some reactions from residents, including a woman named Michelle Clark who described the sound of hail as “Kabooyow!”

Another resident told KHOU that the hail hit “like a bomb, it was a machine gun, just shooting into the house—glass flying 10 feet into the house.” But unfortunately for KHOU, “hit like a bomb” isn’t as meme-friendly as “Kabooyow!”

At the end of the clip, you can see her smiling, which means that she must know that she’s just become a new meme.
