Hugh Hefner is opening up about his former promiscuous sex life.
In an interview with Esquire, the 86-year-old Playboy founder admitted he lost track of how many women he’s slept with over the years.
He told the magazine, "How could I possibly know? Over a thousand, I'm sure," adding, "There were chunks of my life when I was married, and when I was married I never cheated. But I made up for it when I wasn't married. You have to keep your hand in."
Hefner also spoke about his wife, Crystal Harris, whom he married in December. This is his third marriage; he was first married to Mildred Williams from 1949 to 1959 and then went on to marry Kimberley Conrad in 1989, which didn’t officially end until 2010 even though the marriage was far over by then.
"All our friends think it's made in heaven," he said of his bride, Us Weekly reports. "It's only people who don't know us, who simply see us as stereotypes in terms of age and beauty."
He added, "I just feel very, very fortunate to have found her at this stage in my life. I saved the best till last," continuing, "I want the rest of my life to be very much like it is now. I want it to be like this."
Meanwhile, one of Hefner's exes, Holly Madison, has also moved on in a big way. She introduced her baby girl, Rainbow Aurora, last week.
