The new international trailer for Iron Man 3 launched on Tuesday, giving fans another extended preview of the next step in Marvel’s cinematic universe.
Iron Man 3 is the first part in Marvel’s Phase Two and follows last year’s The Avengers. As Entertainment Weekly notes, the trailer shows that the film will have a darker tone than the previous Iron Man films and will have Robert Downey Jr. battling Ben Kingsley, who plays Mandarin. It looks like Mandarin is a threat to the entire country, not just to Iron Man, although he does take something personal from Tony Stark. “No politics here,” Downey Jr. says at one point. “Just good old fashioned revenge.”
There’s also more Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Rebecca Hall in the trailer. Guy Pearce has also joined the cast as a villain.

Iron Man 3 will get an early IMAX release on April 25 internationally. It will hit theaters domestically on May 3. It is the first of two Marvel films hitting theaters this year. Thor: The Dark World will be released in November.
