Iron Man can be seen driving the new Audi R8 in the brand-new 'Iron Man 3' trailer (Video)

You can catch the new Audi R8 in the upcoming summer blockbuster Iron Man 3.

Tony Stark (Iron Man) will be caught driving the new Audi R8 electric version, reports Variety. Not only is the German automaker providing the car for the superhero, but also advertising revenue as well.

If you want you can check out Tony Stark and the obvious product placement in the new Iron Man 3 trailer which was released today. The supporting cast in the movie will be seen driving the Audi sedans, SUVs and coupes.

The automaker is dishing out close to $10 million on promoting the film via TV, print, online and through other media outlets worldwide. For Marvel’s The Avengers, Marvel was asking for $17 million from car companies to be featured in the film. Acura came out on top and had S.H.I.E.L.D. agents driving in in Acura vehicles and Tony Stark in a not-yet-released NSX roadster concept car.

A new trailer was released for the sure to be May 3 summer hit. The trailer features some new shots of the upcoming sequel along with shots that we've already seen. A big surprise for comic book fans is the Hulkbuster armor that can be seen in the trailer. The armor is designed to take down fellow Avenger, The Hulk, when he gets too out of control.
