With the release of Oz the Great and Powerful, and the raunchy anticipated film, Spring Breakers, it is no mystery that actor James Franco keeps busy. In addition from his major film career, the actor will be participating in the theatrical version, “Of Mice and Men,” so does he even have time to sleep? His neighbors may be able to answer this question. Franco, the renaissance man of entertainment, who acts, directs, teaches is adding something else to his reputation: disrupting his neighborhood.
According to the Los Angeles Curbed web site Franco bought a home last summer with the intention of living in it, but according to his neighbor there are several reports that the home is not inhabited by the actor, rather it is used for work such as movie production.
The NY Daily News stated, an anonymous neighbor wrote in a email complaining the following:
“Large white production trucks and various other vehicles block our driveway and use it as a loading zone and block our street with such regularity that we have begun calling parking enforcement to have them ticketed; racks of costumes come and go; crowds of people constantly stream in and out of the house and have business meetings in front of OUR house and treat us as if we are eavesdropping sycophants when we walk out our gate to our car; and as I write this, they've set up hair and make-up in their driveway.”
It seems that Franco is using his home as an office space; he may win many hearts in Hollywood, but as of now he is not winning the hearts of his fellow neighbors.
