Jamie Lynn Spears engaged to Jamie Watson, shows off ring on Instagram

Jamie Lynn Spears, little sister of pop star Britney, announced that she and boyfriend Jamie Watson are engaged.

According to Zap 2 It, the former Nickelodeon star announced the news via Instagram with a photo of herself showing off the ring in the arms of her 30-year-old businessman fiancé.

“Guesssss what??????” she captioned the photo. She followed that post with a solo picture of the stunning picture of the engagement ring. “:) #hedidgood” she wrote.

Spears, who is mother to 4-year-old Maddie Briann, has been together with Watson off and on for three years. Maddie’s father Casey and Spears officially called it quits in 2010.

Watson previously expressed his desire to propose to the blonde beauty with Page Six. He explained in January that Spears has been wearing a ring on her ring finger, but it is a gift he gave her for her birthday and was not an engagement or promise ring.

The 21-year-old former actress held reoccuring roles on both All That and Zoey 101. She is currently pursuing her true passion, which is music.
