Jessica Simpson reveals she's having a boy

It's official: Jessica Simpson has revealed she is having a baby boy.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that the expectant Fashion Star mentor, designer, singer, and actress, 32, let the big news slip on Wednesday during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Simpson made the accidental announcement in a way that only Jessica could.

"It’s a total different pregnancy. I just feel awful, I've been vomiting," she said, explaining to Jimmy Kimmel that she's been feeling sick throughout her pregnancy. "The crazy thing is, I never knew a wiener could actually make me nauseous."

It was then that Simpson realized what she had done, although Kimmel didn't right away.

"Well, I guess I just told the world I'm having a boy," she said, explaining that she hadn't planned on it. She added later that she was a little disappointed with how she revealed the news. "I just did it so crude, too; that was awful. I'm talking about wieners."

Of course, Jessica's baby news had already been revealed by tabloid reports.

“It was kind of out and about in the press that I was having a boy. I was like ‘How do people know these things’?” She said, according to Just Jared.

Simpson doesn't really know how that information got out, but she joked about the possibilities.

"I don't think that a lot of stuff people say is malicious in any way, but maybe I have some friends with some big mouths," she joked. "[Maybe] they call up people, tell their parents, and the parents talk about it at the grocery store. Who knows?"

In any case, Simpson, who is already a mother to 10 month-old daughter Maxwell, will welcome her baby boy this summer.
