Joan Rivers is standing firm that she does not need to apologize to Heidi Klum for comments she made on last week’s episode of Fashion Police.
The sharp-tongued comedian received backlash for commenting on Klum’s cleavage-baring dress, stating, “The last time a German looked this hot was when they were pushing Jews into the ovens."
Rivers maintains she did nothing wrong, however, the Anti-Defamation League has issued a statement following her comments demanding that she apologize.
“Apologizing for what?” Rivers tells Omg! when asked about the controversy. “For what?! … Heidi didn't mind it. That's the joke, Heidi Klum didn't mind it. We didn't mind it. So somebody else minded, you know, then don't watch ‘Fashion Police.’ Next.”
Continuing she defends, “I make points with humor and you want to talk about the Holocaust? That's how I talk about the Holocaust. I remind people there was a Holocaust and someone should wake Mel Gibson up to watch ‘Fashion Police.’”
