Grab your "Pom Poms!" The Jonas Brothers are scheduled for a big comeback!
After announcing a hiatus three years ago, the Jonas Brothers are finally returning to the music scene. The band of brothers have chosen to kick off their comeback with the release of their new single "Pom Poms" on April 2.
MTV News reports that the track was mainly written and produced by Nick with some collaboration from his brothers and Paul Phamous.
"Pom Poms" gives fans a reason to cheer and will appear on the boys fifth album. The JoBros have also opened up about some of the inspiration for their highly-anticipated album, and even what it may sound like.
Joe recently talked to Parade about the album, revealing, “A lot of old school music—not only blues, but soul music and also some dance music that we were listening to. On top of that, there are artists like Bruno Mars and a couple others that are really using a lot of instruments in their live music that they incorporate with the album. That’s what we’ve been trying to do.”
The boys teased fans with previews of the single and music video, which was shot in New Orleans last month. During the 16-second preview, the JoBros take center stage while they jam out surrounded by showers of sparks.
"Pom Poms" will premiere on On Air With Ryan Seacrest on April 2 and the music video will also be unveiled on E!.
Kevin, Joe and Nick briefly pursued solo ventures, married life, and Broadway musicals, but promised fans that they would return someday. After all, how can a band of brothers ever really break up?
