Judge Judy Sheindlin has decided to return the controversial set of china that she had purchased from her producer Randy Douthit.
TMZ reports that earlier this week, Douthit’s bitter ex-wife, Patric Jones, has been looking to press charges against Judge Judy once she had learned that Judge Judy had purchased expensive china for $50,000 from Douthit. Jones believes that the china is worth over $500,000 and is looking to get her property back.
"This very unpleasant lady doesn't give a hoot about dishes. She cares about pressuring her ex-husband and the way to do that is to attempt to embarrass me," said Judge Judy, "She and her attorney want a circus, and I refuse to be a further participant in their drama,” reported TV Guide.
Apparently, Judge Judy will not be refunded for her $50,000 purchase.
Douthit has also made a statement-
"The dishes and silverware that Ms. Jones describes as community property are being sent to me. I am truly sorry that Judge Judy Sheindlin was brought into this domestic dispute. She relied on my statement to her that the court had authorized the sale,” he said.
