Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough have called it quits after two years of dating.

The American Idol host and Safe Haven actress are taking a break from their relationship due to their hectic work schedules, People reports.

Hough, a former choreographer on Dancing with the Stars , reportedly called off the relationship as she couldn’t handle the 38-year-olds constant workaholic state. "Dude works all the time," a friend of the couple tells Us Weekly. "He never sleeps."

Seacrest has made a huge mark on the television industry. Not only does he host American Idol, he also works as a producer, a news journalist, works the red carpet and has his own radio show. Seacrest has also taken on small roles in a handful of films.

"It's a lifestyle she couldn't handle anymore. Work always, always came first [for Ryan] She wants a more lowkey life, the source notes.

Reps for both Hough and Seacrest have declined to comment on the relationship. Both Seacrest and Hough have also remained quiet.
