By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Justin Bieber may have been tweeting about the worst birthday, but it is fans who are going to be giving poor reviews on Twitter. The heartthrob arrived at his London concert two hours late and was met with boos.

E! News reports that the 19-year-old popstar was slated to perform at the O2 Arena Monday evening at 8:30 p.m., per the time on the tickets, but Bieber didn’t take the stage till 10:15 p.m.

When he finally took the stage, he was met with a crowd full of boos. Following his late arrival Justin Bieber refund began trending on Twitter.

A handful of concert goers opened up to E! News, including one Bieber fan named Sophia Lee stating, “I was at the concert and he [Bieber] came out at 10:15 p.m. and Carly Rae Jepsen finished her set at 9:10 p.m.. Justin should have been out at 9:30 Everyone was kept waiting not knowing anything. All they did was kept playing Michael Jackson songs. All the fans were getting so annoyed at around 9:50 p.m., fans started booing."

Additionally, many of Bieliebers were of the younger fan base and left the concert early as it was a school night.

Lee adds, “I stayed! But many people left early as the last underground train was at 12 a.m., so people needed to get home. He didn't even apologize. That's what makes it worse...My mom paid for five tickets so she's not happy."

Following the outcry, the Arena posted on Twitter that the trains schedule was extended to accommodate late concert goers.

Bieber has apologized to fans on Twitter, acknowledging that he was late. He promised, "Tonight we will run on time and look forward to putting on an amazing show for everyone in attendance."

"i never have any intent to upset or let anyone down. and Im not okay with things being exaggerated. once again sorry for anyone upset," he wrote. "now we have a show to do today and Im gonna focus on the positive and put on a great show tonight here in London."
