Justin Bieber claims technical difficulties kept him from arriving on stage on time

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Justin Bieber has semi-apologized for arriving on stage two hours late for his concert in London Monday evening. The “As Long As You Love Me” singer defends that there were “technical” problems which kept him from taking the stage at his scheduled time.

“[S]ince i have been here it hasnt been easy with the press at times but I have loved it. so let me say this...” he tweeted this morning, “last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10..so...”

Continuing, he adds, “i was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and Im proud of that and tonight we will run on time and look forward to putting on an amazing show for everyone in attendance.”

Bieber outraged fans Monday evening when he didn’t appear on stage as scheduled. When the scheduled time on the ticket, 8:30PM, came and went, the crowd erupted in boos.

Many Bieliebers were forced to leave the concert early, as a number of his fans are young and had to go to school Tuesday morning. The arena attempted to ease some of the tension by having the train run later, so concert goers wouldn’t have to worry about transportation. Still, many fans and parents took to Twitter outraged. “Bieber ticket refund” even began trending.
