Justin Bieber collapsed backstage during his third London O2 performance.
According to TMZ, the “As Long As You Love Me” singer stumbled backstage towards the end of his performance when he complained that he felt woozy. He passed out shortly thereafter and was treated by medical personnel, who aided the pop singer with oxygen.
Following his less-than-welcome reviews from Monday’s performance, Bieber has attempted to make good with his fans. A source tells TMZ that the medical team stated that Bieber should be taken to the hospital, but he declined saying he “had to finish the show for his fans."
Bieber’s rep Scooter Braun took the stage to explain to the awaiting Beliebers what was going on. He told them, “Justin's got very light breath. The whole show he’s been complaining. He’s backstage with the EMTs and the doctor."
The 19-year-old singer completed his performance and is now in the hospital for evaluation. Reports state that Bieber is doing fine and is undergoing more precautionary tests.
According to the Mirror, Bieber complained of exhaustion from a “very long week.”
The video below shows Braun explaining Bieber’s medical situation to the awaiting crowd.
Bieber has since taken to Twitter to write, "getting better. thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love"
