Justin Bieber has posted a lengthy rant on Instagram, slamming the likes of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan and bragging about his accomplishments.
According to TMZ, the post, which was tweeted then deleted, then posted again with editing, reveals the 19-year-old slamming the press once again, saying that he is not “going to rehab” and that his family is not disappointed in him like reports are stating.
“Everyone in my team has been telling me, 'keep the press happy' but I'm tired of all the countless lies in the press right now,” he begins. “Saying I'm going to rehab and how my family is disappointed in me. My family is beyond proud, and nothing's been said by them, my grandparents wouldnt know how to reach to press even of they did want to so that was a lie and rehab cmon.”
TMZ notes that after the “As Long As You Love Me” singer edited his Instagram rant one pressing statement was eliminated - his slam on Lindsay Lohan. At the time he wrote, "... to those comparing me to Lindsay Lohan look at her 2012 tax statements ;)"
Bieber’s lengthy Instagram post comes after his whirlwind week in London. The singer kicked off his week with the “worst birthday” tweet, which followed reports that he was kicked out of a club after he tried to smuggle underage Jaden Smith in. The following evening he was a reported two hours late for his show, causing a handful of his young fans to go home because of curfew. They never got to see him perform.
Bieber blamed “technical difficulties” for the tardiness, but never specifically addressed the issue. The following night he was hospitalized after his performance for collapsing backstage. This event was followed by Bieber lashing out at a paparazzo, lunging at him only to be restrained by his own bodyguard. A slew of “f-bombs” were thrown showing a completely different side of the young star.
“I'm 19 with 5 number one albums, 19 and I've seen the whole world. 19 and I've accomplished more than I could've ever dreamed of, i'm 19 and it must be scary to some people to think that this is just the beginning,” he continues.
“I know my talent level and i know i got my head on straight. i know who i am and i know who i'm not My messege is to to believe.”
The pop star continues saying he is posting this with a “smile” on his face and “love” in his heart. “I'm a good person with a big heart. And don't think I deserve all this negative press I've worked my ass off to get where I am and my hard work doesn't stop here...”
Concluding he notes, “All this isn't easy. I get angry sometimes. I'm human. I'm gonna make mistakes. In gonna grow and get better from them. But all the love from you guys overcomes the negativity. I love u. Thanks.”
Bieber has since retracted his statements about Lindsay Lohan, saying, "My post was only up for a few minutes but I realized right away that what I said at the end was wrong and distracted from what I was trying to say. I immediately deleted it and rewrote it so it would show what I was really feeling and those words are up now."
