Justin Timberlake to star in upcoming 'Annie' remake

By Gavriella Tjandra,

Justin Timberlake is reportedly going to appear in the next remake of Annie as Daddy Warbucks.

Jay-Z, Timberlake's friend/one of the Annie producers (the other one is Will Smith), is considering a Daddy Warbucks role for him, The Huffington Post reported.

He is going to work with Will Gluck again, a director whom he worked with once for the movie Friends with Benefits, in which he co-starred with Mila Kunis.

Timberlake will also be working with the 9-year-old, youngest Oscar-nominated actress Quvenzhané Wallis, should he officially sign on.

Earlier today, Timberlake just released The 20/20 Experience's second single, "Mirror," E! News reported.

The eight-minute clip was directed by The Runaways director Floria Sigismondi, following the story of an elderly couple's relationship over the years.

Timberlake dedicated the song to his grandparents, William and Sadie Bomar, who had been together for 63 years until his grandfather, William, passed away last year.

This video was released a day after Jessica Biel's beau revealed that he was working on the second edition for The 20/20 Experience.
