Kate Upton responds to high schooler’s prom invitation on the ‘Today Show’

High school senior, Jake Davidson, made headlines when he made a Youtube video listing the reasons why Sports Illustrated cover girl, Kate Upton, should go to the prom with him. And the crazy part is, she actually just might.

We first reported that Upton responded to the video via Twitter.

USA Today reported that the 20-year-old model surprised the LA high schooler and called into The Today Show during his interview.

The 17-year-old was visibly (and adorably) speechless when he first began talking to Upton on the phone.

Upton gushed about how amazing it was for Davidson to be on TV, to which he responded, “Things have gotten much better now that you’re on the phone!”

Upton continued and said that she “absolutely loved” the video. Davidson then began listing his plans for the evening, joking that he could even get his curfew extended if he asked his parents.

According to E! Online Upton ended the interview by saying that she would have to check her schedule but that she would love to go.
