Katy Perry and John Mayer broke up once again

Katy Perry and John Mayer have reportedly broken up, again.

Multiple close sources told US Weekly that the break-up was sad, but it might not be their last break-up.

The source said, "It's not over until it's over. You have to see how things play out."

Another sourced claimed, "She's leaving the window open. They have both been so focused on work."

There must be more than one reason behind it, but indeed, the pair seem to be concentrating more on their music.

Perry had been back in the studio, recording her third album, while John Mayer, who is reportedly still recovering from his throat surgery last year, is planning for his next tour.

Perry and Mayer first called it quits in August last year, and were caught having dinner in Chateau Marmont two weeks later, E! News reported.

Some rumors said that they had never been officially together.
