Kim Kardashian tries blood facial on 'Kourtney & Kim Take Miami'

Kim Kardashian opted to experiment with a non-traditional facial on Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

The reality starlet used blood from her arm and had it splashed on her face as it is said to keep the skin “young.”

According to ABC, the expecting mother tried out the blood facial and shared the experience on both her E! reality show and Instagram.

The blood facial involves drawing blood from the customers arm, spinning out the platelets then having the blood splashed on the face via a needle.

"I love trying anything that makes you look and feel youthful,” Kim explained.

Thus far the procedure has not been well received by her followers who have made such comments as “Gross,” “Ouch” and calling it “disgusting.”

Kim was accompanied to the facial by her friend Jonathan Cheban who almost passed out when witnessing the blood facial, Entertainment Wise reports. The splashing of the blood on the face is an updated version of the “Vampire Facelift,” which was a prior, more painful, method.
