Lady Gaga rides around in 24-karat gold wheelchair

Lady Gaga may be down, but she’s not out. Mother Monster is taking her latest hip surgery and making the best of it by rolling around in a 24K gold-plated wheelchair.

According to the New York Post, the stunning chair was designed by Ken Borochovo, who has also designs for Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and Cher Lloyd.

“I certainly wasn't expecting that phone call and have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the Chariot, a chair fit only for a queen,” Borochovo explained.

Page Six notes that the talented designer was able to complete the project in just one week. The wheel chair folds down into a laying position, holds the “Bad Romance” singers leg in an elevated position and of course looks great.

As we previously reported, Gaga was forced to cancel the remaining days in her Born This Way Tour after tests showed that she suffered a “labral tear of the right hip.”

Gaga is currently recovering from the surgery she had in late February.
