Lauren Conrad reveals why she went blonde

The Hills star Lauren Conrad recently debuted an even blonder hairstyle and spoke about it at Cotton's 24 Hour Runway Show in Miami, Florida over the weekend.

The 27-year old posted a photo of her fresh locks on Instagram last week with the caption, "A little blonder today thanks to @kristin_ess"

Conrad told US Weekly, "I just felt like going blonder. I don't really have like a cool reason. I hadn't been very blonde in a while. We were in my hairstylist's studio and we just decided to do blonde."

She also described her style, stating, "My style is definitely California, but I tend to go a little girlier. I tend to gravitate towards a classic button-down, a clean denim."

Conrad told the magazine that denim is "such a big part of my wardrobe" and she wears it "almost every single day."

When going for a night out with her boyfriend, law student William Tell, she opts for the classic little black dress look. "I like a little black dress. I like an A-line dress -- you know, the fit and flare, the shape that kind of looks great on everybody."

Conrad hopes that Tell could be the one, telling In Touch Weekly last year, “I kind of hope I’m done with dating!”
