Lena Headey doesn’t trust ex-husband with their son

By Sarah McClanahan,

‘Game of Thrones’ star Lena Headey is in an ongoing custody battle with her estranged husband, Peter Loughran, who she believes is not fit to care for their two-year-old son.

According to TMZ, Lena filed legal documents requesting that Peter not be able to take their son, Wylie Elliot, to Ireland.

She used pictures obtained from his Facebook where he is carrying an AK-47 assault rifle to cite his reckless and sporadic behavior.

Furthermore, she wrote that her estranged husband has abused alcohol in the past, even swerving into oncoming traffic when he was driving under the influence.

Despite Loughran denying these allegations, the judge sided with Headey, forbidding him from taking Wylie to Ireland.

The couple met at a friend’s wedding and married in 2007. They remained together for five years before divorcing in July 2012, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, reports The Huffington Post.

Lena is continuously traveling between her home in Los Angeles and Ireland, where Game of Thrones is filmed, conditions that make motherhood extremely difficult, confirms The Inquisitr.

The third season of Game of Thrones will premiere on HBO on March 31. Check out the trailer below.
