Leslie Mann, who recently appeared in husband Judd Apatow’s This Is 40, is reportedly in talks with Fox to star in The Other Woman.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, also in talks to star is Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
The Other Woman stars Cameron Diaz, who joined the project in November, Collider reported at the time. Diaz plays the title role and teams up with Coster-Waldau’s character’s wife, played by Mann, to plot their revenge on the cheating husband.
Julie Yorn is set to produce with Cassavetes (The Notebook, My Sister’s Keeper) is directing. Melissa Stack wrote the screenplay and production is set to start in last spring in New York.
Mann recently filmed The Bling Ring, which is expected to hit theaters in June.
Coster-Waldau is building his resume outside GoT, recently appearing in Oblivion with Tom Cruise. He plays Jaime Lannister on GoT.
In other noteworthy casting news from Wednesday, Variety confirmed that Robert Duvall will play Robert Downey Jr.’s father in The Judge for Warner Bros. According to EW, Jared Harris has joined Paul W.S. Anderon’s Pompeii and The Office’s Amy Ryan landed a role in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman.
