Liam Payne is not leaving One Direction

Liam has officially shot down claims that he was dropping out of the band to spend more time with his girlfriend.

Yesterday, Daily Star reported that management was forcing Liam Payne to choose between his bandmates and his girlfriend, and he was leaning toward the latter. Allegedly, he had asked to bring his girlfriend, 24-year-old model Danielle Peazer, along during One Direction’s global tour, but his request had been denied because supervisors want the boys to focus on their music without any distractions. The first time he and Danielle had broken up was due to long distance pressures, and he was worried the same issues would reoccur.

However, Payne later struck down these rumors on Twitter, confirming that he will definitely be a part of One Direction for the long haul.

According to MTV, the boys kicked off their Take Me Home tour late February in the UK, and plan to venture to Europe and Mexico within the coming months. The US leg of the tour will start in June in Sunnyvale, Florida.

Their 3D movie, which they will be filming while on the road, will be released to theatres in August.
