Lil Wayne scared fans last week when he was hospitalized for a seizure. However, he is ready to put their minds at ease and start performing again.
TMZ reported a video of Lil Wayne telling his fans he is fine and eager to start touring again.
"I just wanna say thanks to y'all for all your prayers and concerns and all that," said Wayne. "I swear to God I felt that love when I was laid up in that motherf--ker hospital bed. I want all of y'all to know that I'm good…more than good."
E! News reported Wayne was discharged from the hospital on Monday.
In the video, he discusses his new album I Am Not a Human Being Part II, which drops this coming Tuesday. The album is Wayne’s first release since 2011’s Tha Carter IV. He also confirms he will kick off his America’s Most Wanted Tour on July 5. Rapper T.I., who Wayne calls one of his “closest friends in the game,” accompanies him in the video.
Wayne ends the heartfelt video to fans by thanking everyone for their prayers and cheekily saying, “Kiss my fist.”
