Although many reports claimed that Lil Wayne was on his deathbed, the president of Young Money, Mack Maine, took to Twitter to clear the air.
Many sites took to the Internet today to report on the rapper’s critical condition after his recurring seizures during Nicki Minaj’s music video for High School, according to TMZ. He was taken to the Cedars-Sinai hospital and, although he was initially released Wednesday, soon had to return after yet another seizure.
Now Maine has taken to Twitter to put an end to the rumors. He tweeted:
Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game...thanks for the prayers and concern..he will update you all soon. #love

He later added:
We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe...that's false!!

After Lil Wayne’s last episode back in November of 2012, he apparently went on seizure medication and was instructed by doctors to drink four bottles of water every day to prevent dehydration, reported MTV.
Reports by TMZ claim that the cause of the seizures was codeine and that Weezy’s stomach had to be pumped three times, to which Maine recently tweeted, “#FUCKTMZ” in response.
What do you think about Lil Wayne’s seizure scare?
