Lil Wayne released from hospital

After a life-threatening seizure Lil Wayne experienced last week, the rapper is finally released from West Hollywood Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

A close source connected to the rapper informs TMZ that Lil Wayne is feeling weak but getting a lot better. He is also planning to invest a lot of time in resting until he is fully recovered.

Wayne's recording label Young Money Entertainment's president Mack Maine tweeted, "Thanks to Cedar Sinai for everything!!! @LilTunechi has been officially been released and is headed home....God is great."

According to his doctor, the main reason of him collapsing is mainly because of drugs.

A source linked to Lil Wayne says that there is evidence the rapper might have gone on a Sizzurp binge, because doctors found high amount of codeine in his system, The Daily Mail reported.

While hospitalized, some of his celebrity friends came to his bedside. Some of them were Nicki Minaj, Drake, Birdman, and basketball star Chris Paul.
