Lindsay Lohan just catches flight to L.A., has her day in court tomorrow

Actress-on-trial Lindsay Lohan skipped out on her Saturday night flight back to Los Angeles, despite her date in court, scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Monday, which will decide her fate on recent charges of lying to police and violating her probation, among other things. If convicted, the troubled starlet faces eight months in jail, at the least. Yet the threat of prison time was not enough to motivate Lohan to keep her appointment.

According to TMZ, Lohan arrived, alone, at JFK airport just in time to catch a last-minute flight back to L.A. Despite plans to travel with her mother, it looks like Dina Lohan will be absent for Lindsay’s trial.

If Lohan is absent tomorrow, a bench warrant will be issued, which will permit law enforcement to arrest her on-sight, N.Y. Post reported. However, this would not be the first time the former child-star missed a court date. In 2010, she failed to show after allegedly misplacing her passport.

Rather than catch her scheduled flight, Lohan spent Saturday night at a club in Gotham, where she watched a band called City of the Sun.
