Man arrested for the death of Usher's stepson

Justice has been served following the death of Usher’s young son Kile Grover nearly nine months after his tragic death.

Grover died last summer during a vacation at Lake Lanier in Georgia when he and another young child were struck by a jet skier. While the young girl only received minor injuries, Kile was declared brain dead and died shortly thereafter.

Now, Jeffrey Simon Hubbard was arrested at his parents' house Friday on charges of homicide by vessel, Serious injury by vessel and reckless operation of a vessel, Omg! reports. Hubbard was charged and is being held without bail and was slated to appear in front of a judge over the weekend.

Details into his arrest have not been revealed, but officers tell Omg that the investigation into Kile’s death has been ongoing.

Additionally, since his death, Kile’s mother has been advocating for a law to be passed to improve boating laws. She has since posted a tribute to her son on Instagram
