It’s spring cleaning time for McDonald's.
Apparently, the world renowned chain is doing away with the Fruit & Walnut Salad, the Chicken Selects, and yes, sad to say, the Angus burgers, as stated by The Associated Press.
But as they say – Out with the old, in with the new!
The Huffington Post reported that there are new items in the works such as, Fish McBites and a new McWrap chicken that’s actually bigger than your average Snack Wrap.
Throughout the past few years, other fast food chains such as Wendy’s and McDonald’s have been stepping up their marketing game to hold down a good competition against McDonald’s. With that said, McDonald’s needs to do what they have to do to stay afloat, or on top.
“The menu at McDonald’s has gotten so broad and so jumbled that nothing sells in large numbers,” said Richard Adams, a McDonald’s consult for franchisees, “This business was built on simplicity, and that’s kind of gone out of the window in the last decade.”
