Michael Lohan getting ready to uncover celebrity infidelity with 'Celebrity Cheaters'

By Gina DiFalco,

Michael Lohan, who has been accused by his ex-wife, Dina Lohan, of cheating, is set to take on hosting duties for the new show Celebrity Cheaters.

The show is a variation of the long-running show Cheaters, created by Bobby Goldstein.

The father of troubled actress Lindsay, Michael, can be seen unveiling affairs in the celebrity world this fall. He told the NY Daily News “Ever since news came out I was hosting, lots of people have called saying, ‘Michael, if you want some content, come and talk to us.’”

He also claims “upward of seven out of 10 cheat, and 70% of marriages end under five years — and in Hollywood the rate is even worse,” adding, “These are people that are having flings with celebrities, believe me. They are out there in Atlanta, New York and L.A.; it is all over the country.”

The show is currently in his 14th year, and investigator Bo Dietl has already been doing his research trying to uncover celebrities who are cheating on their spouses.

The Houston Chronicle reports Michael has said of the issue at hand “Infidelity is a real issue everyone can identify with. Even if there isn’t infidelity in a relationship, most people think there is some cheating going on. With (the) divorce rate so high, I think celebrities have as much if not more cheating going on, and a lot of people want to step up and talk about it.”

Check out our interview with Michael last year, in which he called Dina’s behavior “narcissistic” and “sociopathic.”
