Miley Cyrus relaxes by the pool in Palm Springs as break-up rumors continue

Miley Cyrus relaxed by the pool on Monday as of rumors continued to circulate that she and fiancé Liam Hemsworth have called it quits.

Cyrus, 20, was in Palm Springs, California with some friends, while Hemsworth is thousands of miles away first in Australia then at a promotional appearance in Manila, Philippines.

The former Hannah Montana star wore a Beach Riot bikini while being photographed swimming and talking on her cell phone in her beach chair, Us Magazine reports.

While Hemsworth spent time with his family and friends in his native country and then moved on to work, his car is still parked in his fiance’s driveway in L.A.

She hasn’t been wearing her engagement ring, and E! Online reports that she explained on Twitter that she’s simply getting it fixed.

Sources say that they are going through a rough patch in their relationship, but they "both want it to work."

Hemsworth is due back in the Unites States in a few days, so time will tell if they reunite or not.
