Supermodel Miranda Kerr injured her back and neck as a result of a car accident that occurred in Los Angeles on Monday.
TMZ reported that Kerr was on the freeway, without husband Orland Bloom or 2-year-old son Flynn, when a driver allegedly hit her vehicle. There are rumors that the person responsible for the wreck was arrested for DUI, but it is unconfirmed at this point.
The 29-year-old model was seen the following day wearing a medical collar and reportedly suffered both whiplash and various back injuries.
"She is in a lot of pain, but really we are just glad it was not more serious," her representative said to Australia’s 9 News, according to LA Times . "[Orlando is] taking very good care of her. He's an amazing husband. Luckily, Flynn wasn't in the car."
Apparently this isn’t the first time Kerr has suffered from the aftermath of a car accident. Her ex-boyfriend Christopher Flynn Middlebrook died in a crash when Kerr was 15 years old, prompting her to name her son Flynn Christopher in memory of him.
