The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced the dates for the 2014 and 2015 Oscars ceremonies. The 2014 ceremony will take place in March of that year to avoid the Winter Olympics.

On the Academy website, AMPAS announced that the 2013 awards season will kick off on Nov. 16, 2013 when the honorary Governors Awards are handed out. By Dec. 2, 2013, the studios and producers will have send in the official credits for films and voting for the nominees start on Dec. 27.

Voting for the nominees end on Jan. 8, 2014, with the nominees announced on Jan. 16. Voters will hand in their ballots between Feb. 15 and Feb. 25. Oscars Sunday is set for March 2, 2014.

The move to March shouldn’t be a surprise since the Winter Olympics in Sochi Russia are scheduled for Feb. 7-23, 2014.

AMPAS also scheduled the 2015 ceremony for Feb. 22, 2015.

Both ceremonies will be broadcast on ABC from the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.

The 2013 ceremony saw Ben Affleck’s Argo win Best Picture and Ang Lee’s Life of Pi win the most Oscars with four.
