Parent Television Council issues petition against Seth McFarlane to the Oscar Academy

By Ezekiel Hernandez,
The council is very descriptive on how vulgar they think the host was.

The Parent’s Television Council is again setting its sights on last week’s Oscar host Seth McFarlane, putting out a new petition letter this week to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences - urging them not to invite the Family Guy creator back as a host.

It could make little to no difference, since McFarlane has already said he won’t return as a host .

According to E! News, the Council had a strongly-worded description about McFarlane’s body of work on television, . It claims he outraged and offended “millions of viewers.” According to the report, the Academy has not responded to the petition, but has already commended McFarlane and the show’s producers on a “great job.”

The interactive PTC petition comes with tabs that allow signers to stream what it calls an “anti-Semitic,” “sexist” and “orgy” clip by McFarlane during last Sunday’s award show.

The PTC has already had McFarlane in its crosshairs, publishing amusingly-descriptive profiles on its website of McFarlane’s three animated creations on Fox, warning parents of a variety of vulgar themes.
