Jonathan Taylor Thomas, nicknamed in the '90s as 'JTT' has been reunited with his former onscreen father, comedian Tim Allen, in his new sitcom Last Man Standing. Thomas is best known for his role as Allen's middle son Randy Taylor on the sitcom Home Improvement.
Allen, who plays main character Mike Baxter on the comedy, tweeted that Thomas filmed his scenes for the role in February.

The Huffington Post shares that Thomas plays a former coworker of Allen's onscreen oldest daughter Kristin (Amanda Fuller). The site reports that Fuller's character Kristin is ecstatic about running into Thomas' character, though it is not revealed if the two form any kind of love connection.
Entertainment Weekly reports that this will be the actor's first gig since 2005, when he had a small role on the show Veronica Mars. Allen has also had his former Home Improvement star Richard Karn, who played best pal Al Borland, on Last Man Standing.
JTT's episode will air on Friday, March 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC. This episode is also the season finale for the second season of the sitcom.
