Scott Sassa, President of Hearst Entertainment, has resigned after revealing texts between he and an LA stripper were leaked.
According to Business Insider, Sassa found himself at the center of a scandal after the LA stripper collaborated with her boyfriend and threatened to share the texts if the Hearst president did not pay her a significant amount of money for her silence.
Sources reveal to Page Six that the descriptive texts involved pornographic pictures in addition to texts to arrange a ‘hook-up.’
“She was texting him sexy pictures, and he was responding using words you absolutely would not want your bosses to see,” a source revealed. “He was also communicating with many other girls in New York, and wrote crazy things to them.”
When the unidentified stripper's list of demands were not met, her boyfriend sent a copy of the messages to CEO Frank Bennack Jr., Hearst Magazine's president David Carey and Michael Clinton.
He was asked to resign after reading the messages.
Sassa, a single father of two, headed such networks as Lifetime, ESPN, Fox and held previous positions at NBC.
