A spin-off of the immensely popular teen mystery drama Pretty Little Liars titled Ravenswood is set to air this October on ABC Family.
ABC Family announced earlier today one addition to its fall line-up: Ravenswood.
A video on ABC Family’s official website gives a synopsis of the show: “Not far from Rosewood, Pennsylvania, a deadly curse has plagued the citizens of a town called Ravenswood for generations, and the curse is about to strike again. Five strangers suddenly find themselves at the mercy of this fatal curse, so they dig into the town’s mysterious and terrible history before it’s too late for all of them.”
Ravenswood will be produced by the same people who work on PLL: Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Joseph Dougherty, and Leslie Morgenstein.
Further plot details and the actors featured in the cast have yet to be announced.
“We can’t tell you who’s in it yet. Like Rosewood, Ravenswood has dark secrets,” producer Marlene King tweeted.
