‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Jacqueline Laurita racks up thousands in tax debt

Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Jacqueline Laurita has reportedly accrued a massive tax debt - $338,337.05 to be exact.

TMZ first reported the news, claiming that the New Jersey Division of Taxation had accosted Laurita earlier this year.

This isn’t the first time that Laurita has faced money troubles. Last year her husband Chris faced a $7.8 million lawsuit for his company Signature Apparel. According to Sarcasm , Chris and his business partner were accused of draining the company to pay for their extravagant lifestyles.

Jacqueline previously tweeted, “Sorry to disappoint some of you but business is not the same as personal and accusations don’t make it truth. We are doing good. You’ll see..” about the lawsuit. She has yet to comment on the news of the tax debt.

Laurita isn’t the only RHONJ cast member to come upon financial troubles. Previous housewife Danielle Staub and current housewife Teresa Guidice have also had their fair share of money problems. Guidice is rumored to be in the middle of a bankruptcy.

Laurita has been on the Real Housewives of New Jersey since season 1.
