How does one transform from a Dolphin to a Lion? Reggie Bush could show you how through his free agent status.
The NFL.com reports that Reggie Bush is a free agent and teams such as the Arizona Cardinals, Washington Redskins, Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions are after him. However, the Detroit Lions are making him an offer he simply cannot refuse, which is a starting role. NFL.com claims that Detroit promised Bush to the chance to be an every down player over other players on the team.
According to the The Detroit Free Press Matt Stafford, the quarterback for the Lions is one of the main leaders trying to convince Bush to sign with the team. Bush, who won the Super Bowl with the Saints in 2009 and has been the running back for the Dolphins, is a valuable asset to any football team and Stafford understands that. In addition, the Free Press states that Stafford has been luring Bush in for the past month and starting following him on Twitter.
With Bush’s numerous offers it will be difficult to determine, but the Lion’s offer is going to be hard to refuse.
The news that the Lions are interested in Bush was first reported by Yahoo Sports.
UPDATE: ProFootballTalk.com reports that Bush has signed with the Lions after all.
