“Diamonds” singer Rihanna has postponed her performance in Boston after “contracting laryngitis.”
According to TMZ the 25-year-old singer was slated to perform at the TD Garden tonight. Live Nation has since announced the postponement saying, “Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening."
The concert, which is a part of her “Diamonds World Tour” is expected to see another date which is yet to be announced. Thus far, RiRi is still set to perform in Baltimore on Tuesday.
Thus far the “S&M” singer has not addressed the cancellation on Twitter.
Daily Mail notes that the tour has only just begun, having kicked off on Friday.
Following her performance in Baltimore, which is still on schedule, Rihanna will travel to Philadelphia, Hartford, CT, Montreal, Toronto and Detroit. The tour is slated to go into early May where the tour will come to an end in New York.
